Owl Vision's New Darkmix

Looking for something dark? Like midnight in the back of dive bar with the lights out dark? Like the place you go at the end of that night with that hot girl that's wearing too much make up, tasting like whiskey and sex dark? Well I've got some heavy music by the way of Sweden 's Owl Vision just for you. If you don't already know, Owl Vision dropped a full LP called Leprozy a bit back, unsigned no less, that features some heavy beats, specifically "Darkness". You can pick it up below along with a great remix by Distrakt below, and if you like 'em check the album teaser (And buy that shit!). You might as well check his ill remix of swedish sweetheart Miss Li's "Ba ba ba" while you're at it. But that's not what's new. What's happening is Owl Vision just dropped a brand spanking new mix that is just full of graciously hard drops and distortion. Proxy, The Bloody Beetroots, Huoratron. You name it, it's there. Unser Freund Andres Klein (A.K.A aUtOdiDakT), DJ and Manager of Traktor Records, sent us a sample of his latest work featuring Germany's Super Super "Here We Go." The track is sick, we love it, but the special thing about this release is the relative variety across genres found with each different remix. "From Electro-House (Original), Dubstep (Lazy Ants) to NuTechno (Distrakt), Acid-Rave (Gooseflesh) to Cut-Up House (LaClopeAuBec) and pumping Bassline-Rave (Noize Generation) you'll find a variety of styles."

Shaved Monkeys Get Rough EP Out Now!

I have been waiting for this EP to drop for a while now, and I am very happy to hear the full version of Get Rough by the trio from Belgium and its remixes. Shaved Monkeys is Dieter Haeck, Gregory Messine and Pieter Machtelinckx. The EP was released on June 1st through Crux Records from New York. This label has worked with names such as DJ Antention, Blatta & Inesha, Gigi Barrocco among many others, so we will definitely keep an eye on them.

Below is the EP's full track list; besides the superb original I say that the Distrakt and the Aerotronic remixes are the harder ones, not to say the others lack anything.
