TCHNCRCY Ten Tracks

It's been a bit since I've been able to pull this together but here we go with another ten tracks up for you to grab. Given how big soundcloud previews have gotten and the lack of downloaded singles that are available, I'm sorry if these songs are old news to you. If they aren't, then get excited. These are the top ten tracks that have been on repeat for me. Check 'em out.

Jewel Kid - Break My Heart (Computer Club Remix) (320 kbps)*****
- This track is huge and is probably one of the best dance-electro songs I've heard in a while. The drop at 1:30 is essential.

Cyberpunkers - Fuck The System (You Killing Me Remix) (320 kbps)
-Evil and hard.

Willow Smith - Whip My Hair (Crizzly Remix) (320 kbps)
-A ridiculous song turned into a dub stomper. Good job Crizzly.

Trolley Snatcha - Blind Faith (Trolley Snatcha Remix) (320 kbps)
-English Dub at it's finest.

Night Kids - Off With His Head! (192 kbps)*****
-This song crushes and is chock full just really cool sounds. Definitely don't miss this.

Amadou & Mariam - Sabali (Vitalic Remix) (320 kbps)*****
-This song may be old, but it's too goddamn good to miss. If you don't have it, get it. If you do, listen to it again. It's really fucking good.

Udachi - Stumble feat. Short Stories (Vocal Mix) (320 kbps)*****
-One of my favorite songs of the past months. The vocal chops that come in at 1:27 are flawless and something I haven't been able to get out of my head.

Nadisko - Prelude (The "S" Remix) (128 kbps)
-TCHNCRCY favorites The "S" put it down again.

Britney Spears - Till The World Ends (Bloody Beetroots Extended Remix) (128 kbps)***
-New track from Sir Bob. Good stuff in the stylo of Fucked From Above 1985.

Rusko - Everyday (Netsky Remix) (128 kbps)
-Massive remix by Belgium's Netsky. If you don't mind D'n'B drums, the bassline is epic in the way Flux Pavillion and Doctor P put it down. Check it out.

They Put Murder in These Beats

Back with a vengeance ladies and gentlemen. We've got some shiny new digs as you can see and I've got some dirty beats to mess it all up. I'm talking blow out your brain heavy dub-step to really ring in the new bright and sunny season. First up I have some songs coming up from the U.K. label Circus Records, home to some of the best new dub work out on the market today. Run by my favorite boy Flux Pavilion and up and coming artist, Doctor P, and I gotta tell you. I've only gotten great vibes from these guys. Check out these tracks from their resident bass addict, Cookie Monsta. Frontline is a personal favorite, but check out Change Your Heart as well. Really nice rolling bass.

Cookie Monsta - Frontline (320 kbps)
Cookie Monsta - Ginger Pubs (320 kbps)
Cookie Monsta - Suicide (320 kbps)
Cookie Monsta - Change Your Heart (320 kbps)

Let's talk about Sub Focus, another U.K. DJ. While it took some getting used to his quick tempo drum and bass style, I can't listen to his stuff without my interesting getting peaked. The really quick, loud, and strange sounds he puts down are filthy. Check out this remix he did of Rusko's new "Hold On," and pick up the Basement Jaxx remix as well as his rework of his own "Could This Be Real". They're all banging songs that are sure to rock your speakers. And if you end up liking this stuff be sure to pick up his self-titled LP.

Rusko - Hold On (feat. Amber Coffman) (Sub Focus Remix) (320 kbps)
Basement Jaxx - Twerk (ft.Yo Majesty) (Sub Focus Remix) (320 kbps)
Sub Focus - Could this Be Real (Sub Focus Dnb Remix) (320 kbps)

Finally, I bring you a remix from Datsik and Excision that is built with bass, from the foundation up to the roof. Swoop this and try to hold on.

Kelly Dean & Steady - Teflon ft Kemst (Datsik & Excision Remix) (320 kbps)

Bonus:
Unicorn Kid - Dream Catcher (320 kbps) (Dubby 8-bit? Nice)

I know you need a break after all this heaviness so here's some real smooth summer music to compensate. By far the best remix I've heard of this song and you're a fool if you don't give this a listen, preferably in the sun.
Two Door Cinema Club - Something Good Can Work (Ted And Francis Remix)♥♥♥♥♥♥

O.M.G., it's a Rusko LP!

Everyones favorite UK transplant who now lives in LA is about to drop his new LP next Tuesday the 4th of May. The album is very aptly named O.M.G. and honestly I CANNOT hype it enough, it's sooooooooo ill. The new album from the man, who in my opinion was the first to successfully introduce dubstep to electro, fidget and house, features collaborations with the likes of Crookers, Gucci Mane (WHAT!!?!? Isn't he in Jail), Rod Azlan and Amber Coffman. This album is too good to describe in words, head over to his myspace and check out all the tracks right now and after that go pre-order this album on Mad Decent's website cause Rusko is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and he deserves some support. Enjoy and realize that this is only the beginning for this very talented 25 year old.

Rusko - Rubadub Shakedown Feat. Rod Azlan ∆ Download limit exceded. (Sorry, Buy it, it's great!)

*These are all Myspace rips. Sorry about the huge file size and .aif but I didn't have time to compress them. Hopefully I will motivate you to buy the tracks when they come out.

Mixed Up, Messed Up, and Moving Out

What's cracking readers? I know it's been a minute since the last post but I've got some goodies I've gleaned from last week. First off here are some great new Breakbot remixes. Check Skabenga's earlier post for more news on him. Love In My Spaceship and the air remix is real nice. Give them a look. Do it.
Jan Turkenburg/Breakbot - In My Spaceship (Breakbot Remix) (192 kpbs)
Air - So Light Is Her Footfall (Breakbot Remix) (192 kbps)

Next up I have some sick Swedish fools dishing out some sweet beats. Ianizer and Lemethy have put out this great track Aimer,  a really nice piece of almost tech-house. Pick it up and give it a listen. One of my favorites for the past week and something I'm about.
Ianizer & Lemethy - Aimer (320 kpbs)

Big ups to Techno Colored Kids for this track. I don't know where these dudes come from, apparently Scotland, but this Dust Nuggets song is smooth and dirty at the same time. Don't judge until 2 minutes in. It gets really weird, almost Oizo-like. That's something I can appreciate, so give it a shot, let me know what you think.
Clouds - Dust Nugget (320 kbps)

If you don't know about Rusko, let me spit some knowledge at you. Rusko is one of the filthiest dub artist on the map. I'd be surprised if you haven't heard but if haven't he's an amazing artist from North England that has lead the dub-step music scene that has been enveloping the electro scene lately. Saw him in Portland at the Rotture (one of the best Portland Electro Venues/Bars) and he blew my mind. Any dude who blasts the place with heavy bass and plays that crowd so well that people are clamoring onto the stage by the end is all good with me. Technocracy Music loves Rusko. Check out the most recent songs plus this bangin' Woo Boost remix by L.A. DJ, Subskrpt. All great, all worth respect.  He's one of leaders in Electro and does nothing less than fufill that role.
