This is a mini-post to make you aware of the upcoming Invasion EP by no other than our favorite F.O.O.L. It is dropping at the end of April with remixes by the S, Ikki and many others on OMG! It's Techno Music. Check out the FULL preview below and check with us for specific dates. F.O.O.L. brings very hard electro sounds, and the duo keeps their sound fresh through time.
Life Express is another swedish duo that I highly recommend you check out, listen to the F.O.O.L. remix below and their original My To Do List released on Bonerizing records (you have to wait for the drop).
This EP dropped Febraury first on Dim Mak Records. White Noise/Re Meat is one the Swedish duo's more powerful tracks, it has a solid light bass synth that drives the melody into a great drop leading to steady and incredible distorted bass and good drums, I highly recommend spending a little money on an EP that revolves around such a satisfying track. As you can see from the teaser below, if there is one thing that we can see Dada Life, The Beetroots, and Will Ferrel agree on (at least implicitly) is that sometimes you just have to have more cowbell.
Perhaps we know something else you might like. I recommend looking into what the fantastic Swedish duo F.O.O.L. has put out for free very recently. ...Puma Sweden's rack, allegedly featured in over 105 "Swedish Flicks." What a hard-working girl. Only thing is that she doesn't produce any banger electro track's (or does she?).
Owl Vision is at this point regularly posted on in this blog. His stuff is just heavy and dark enough to make us want more, yet I feel he is still a very underrated artist. Johannes' solo act deserves more attention. So when this jewel of an EP drops early February on Dga Fau Records do not hesitate to buy it. If you needed more incentive,keep in mind it includes a F.O.O.L and a Quentin Gauthier remix; the EP is called the Black Death and will fuck your shit up.
You gotta admit that that shit is pretty cool? I never though that a piano cover of this track could be: #1 so interesting or #2 so beautiful and melodic. Check out the video, it is awesome. Once you have you will probably be one of many who want a studio quality version of this recording so you can Dr. Fankenstein it into a set or remix. If that is you go pester, show some love and check out some originals of Ferro, the pianist, on his Soundcloud Page.
Also, we got some new original Skrillex. I wasn't completely on the Scary Monsters EP bandwagon, like seemingly everyone else. Even though it has great moments it sorta felt like it packed every single electronic music genre under the sun into one EP and then tied it all together with dubstep bassline drops. No hate, I just liked some of his earlier stuff more. However, I do love his new track, Cat Rats. I don't know where the name comes from but I do know that it is a fine example of durty, durty Discostep. Not Discostep in the Rusko O.M.G. sense. It's more like if the only two Grammy winning robots in the world decided to make a song with dubstep drops and wobbles, this is what it would sound like. Check out Cat Rats as well as a durty Redial remix of Scary Monsters.
Bonus: You should check out Redial's Soundcloud at some point. But at the very least you should listen to his new remix for F.O.O.L.'s Dark Cyan Night. It is a massive banga'.
We don't need to tell you about F.O.O.L. at this point right? The Swedish producers have been putting out huge track after huge track, and we have done the best we can to make sure you don't miss these guys' releases.
We're Not French is one of those tracks and the EP soon to be released on Germany's Kiez Beats Records looks very promising. Not only is this a very solid track but the artists remixing it are all in TCHNOCRCY Music's list of favorites. How can you see that line-up of artist in a single EP and not want to listen to it?
We all here at TCHNCRCY Music are thrilled to post on a sick producer from Portland, Oregon; we have grown fond of the city and love to see the quality of its music scene improving and it moving in the right direction (if you are from Portland or have visited you might have noticed that there is talent indeed, but some trends survive for too long and become engraved in the social-fabric sort of ruining it for everyone else who for example doesn't really feel like listening to beat-poets go on masturbatory rants about their awkward first sexual experience before a metal band). But just when you start losing hope there is always that little ray of sunshine that makes everything OK; and this time there is a fucking supernova obliterating the shit out of your hopelessness. Portlanders be proud, here is Drivepilot.
This talented artist started remixing names such as Daft Punk, Peaches, F.O.O.L., Huoratron and Fuckkk Offf not too long ago in early 2009 and we are surprised it took us this long to bring him to your attention. Recently he did a filthy remix for F.O.O.L's Berserkergang EP, which shines with his own hard electro style and makes great use of that filthy synth we all, Bloody Beetroots fans, like so much:
Drivepilot is also the co-founder of Traction Records, a fairly new label also from Portland, through which he put out his banging Savages EP (2010). We will keep an eye on this label to let you know about coming releases (if Drivepilot's EP is any indication of the quality they intend to maintain with their releases rest assure this Oregonian label will be able to stand its ground against its counterparts around the world).
The Savages EP is to date the best release of this young Record Label from Portland, OR (ahem..they have only two releases, but still). I would highly recommend heading over to his soundcloud page to preview the entire thing, but in case you are skeptical of our opinion (asshole) below you will find three of our favorite tracks. Savages Pt. 1 and Savages Pt. 2 are both huge tracks. If you are a fan of distortion, heavy bass, both together, electro and used to (or do still) have a thing for metal, these tracks will definitely make you want to break some bricks with your head. And of course we cannot mention this EP without recommending Mega Shark. What does it sound like? oddly enough the title of the track describes it fairly well: it is a huge killer track that seems to have an appetite to devour all those that can't "stay put" when good hard-electro is playing. And finally I leave you with what will be one of Traction Records upcoming releases. Devils From Milan is a bit slower than the sick tracks above but still a great composition. The bass in this one (at the beginning at least) makes me want to say we are listening to a Justice fan:
I told you I would keep you updated on F.O.O.L.'s upcoming EP and I am planning to stick to my word. The EP contains the original mix by F.O.O.L featuring vocals by A Girl & A Gun (you know that girl from Georgia, USA that somehow has been a part of sick tracks with producers like Belzebass, Gigi Barocco and Sawgood who have an appetite for her vocals), as well as remixes by Calis, Drivepilot, Beef Theater, Noize Generation and Owl Vision. This EP is dropping this Friday the 20th on Meet Me At Night Recordings, a growing label from Austria.
At the bottom of the post you will be able to preview the whole EP, which is an overall great compilation; however, I would like to first direct you to what many will agree is the best track on the EP. This is not the first time we mention Johaness Arnesson, AKA Owl Vision, on this blog and surely won't be the last. For three years now this Swedish producer has been making our skulls hurt (sampler and drum machine in hand) with his personal take on Death Electro. Check out one of his best remixes so far, one that he is sharing with us before its official release date.

The Australian Record Label Tuffem UP! is recruiting acts from all over the globe. Among its members the one that might have the hardest sound is HAEZER, who signed up with the Australian label and will be touring the land down and under with Gtronic (if you happen to be there this summer, or winter? check out the dates for the the tour here). HAEZER's most recent material is hard to say the least, and anyone doubting that statement can just listen to these tracks and realize how wrong they can be (there is only one definition of hard and we know it):

Barretso, from Viña del Mar, Chile is also signed by this label. We see a lot of collaborations between Barretso and the other Australian artists on these record label (other members include Redial and Kolt13); however, something that makes Barretso's work a bit unique is the sound he creates when remixing Astro (an electronic indie-psychedelic act also from Chile).
