Drivepilot - Ruthless EP

Drivepilot AKA Nick Edwards recently dropped his third EP, Ruthless, and as expected it is unbelievably massive. I loved the first two Drivepilot EPs (Savages & Fuck Yeah) like children but this third EP is virtually flawless. The title track Ruthless is a chilling electro/step banger that could make any dance-floor go mad, from diehard death electro-thrash lovers to moon-boot rocking candy ravers. Also, the vocals in Ruthless are amazing, fuck its DFA1979 meets "ruthless" Electro/step. Regrets is an absolute must for those who are fans of the bangin' electro/house genre, combining vocal chops hip hop samples and scratches, erie string sections, and bangin electro drops. Devils in Milan is probably my favorite Drivepilot track of all time, you hear the spine tingling piano lead or the bassline and your like, holy shit, new Justice but then the drop comes and you know it can't be anyone but Drivepilot. Halo and GSM are electro magic and definitely shouldn't be missed either.

Angst is the Debut EP from french electro/house hero The Toxic Avenger. This album is fantastic, demonstrating both Toxic Avenger's bangin' side and his more electo/pop/hop collaborations. I love The Toxic Avenger is a legend and highly recommend you grab full LP.
I know Drivepilot shares my love for The Toxic Avenger, as me and Nick both agree that The Toxic Avenger's remix of Bring Me The Horizon's Death Breath is one of the best tracks ever! Also, Drivepilot just dropped an enormous remix of Angst Two. Download it below, Phenomenal!

Hantise's Prophecy of March Mixtape

Hantise is the union between one techno DJ/Producer and one metal musician who have come together to form a exceptionally banging French electro duo. Formed only last year this duo hasn't been around for long but they have turned out a ton of fantastic new tracks and mixes in the past few months. Check out their new Mixtape, "Prophecy of March", it's a great introduction to the French duo Hantise plus it features tons of underground bangers from the likes of Modek, Toxic Avenger, Crookers, The "S", Belzebass, Drivepilot, Electrophants and a whole lot more. Redemption, Tontons and Bangin'

The other day I realized that Technocracy had never posted on The Toxic Avenger. The Toxic, is amazing, he is one of my favorite Parisian producers (saying a lot) and "Toxic Is Dead" is one of my favorite songs of all time (saying more). Then, today I realized that we had also never posted on Pance Party, the fantastic San Francisco duo who first blew my mind with their self titled EP and then again with the Kim Jong Thrill EP and are set to do it again with the Let's Get Invisible EP dropping on June 9th. Since The Toxic Avenger and Pance Party just released new remixes for the new track by Benny Benassi featuring Kelis and apl.de.ap, some dude from the B. E. Peas, I thought it was time to end our dry-spell of these two (really 3 with Pance Party duo) producer/djs who like to bang!

In case we are the only blog you read or you read bad blogs that haven't yet talked about this glorious EP, Tonton Funk is Teenage Bad Girl's new single. Teenage Bad Girl is another Parisian duo made up of producers Guillaume Manbell and Greg Kazubski. There debut LP Cocotte was one of the best and most underrated albums of 2007, which is a massive statement when you consider Justice, Boys Noize, Crystal Castles, Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism and Soulwax Nite Versions as well as a slew of other great electronic artist all dropped debut albums in 2007; in fact, I still refer to 2007 as the "Golden Age of New Electro". Out of this golden age, or at least stream of consistently great albums, Teenage Bad Girl was the first (of the above list of artist) drop a fantastic album and to introduce me to Ed Banger and Boys Noize. Clearly I have much too much love for Teenage Bad Girl. Check out remix of Tonton Funk by The Toxic Avenger and Les Petits Pilous which are absolute bangers and pray that Teenage Bad Girl drops a new LP some time soon.
